Hello Everyone, long time no talk! I have missed blogging so much but seriously it is almost impossible to find time for anything while your living the Disney World life. Oh, what an amazing time we had! I will post another blog soon recapping our day to day events of last week but this blog is all going to be about one EXCITING thing!
I AM ENGAGED. Ah, it is still so crazy to say and we are all so excited. I wanted to write all about how he proposed because it is just oh so perfect. Here is a little bit of background info— I LOVE DISNEY, and my favorite disney movie of all time is Beauty and the Beast, my favorite restaurant in Disney is “Be Our Guest” (The Beast’s Castle), my favorite character is the Beast, and basically I want to be a princess. Somehow, Christian combined all of my favorite things into one perfect proposal.
My family and Christian’s parents were all eating dinner at “Be Our Guest”, after chowing down on steak and delicious desserts, it was time to finish up our dinner with a picture with the Beast. The line was incredibly long and I was totally clueless to what was about to go down. It was finally our turn, we took a few pics, and I began to walk away to leave but no one else was leaving. I turned around to see my Christian holding a tray with a rose corsage and a tiara. When I took the tray from him, he dropped down to a knee, holding my dream ring, and asked me to be his princess forever. I cried and it’s all such a blur.. I don’t even think I used real words the entire time (lol), I was just shocked. Obviously, I said yes and now I am in the process of planning my dream wedding, with my handsome fiancĂ© (so crazy to say). It was so so special having our families there and so involved. I loved every second of this vacation and can’t wait to see what God has in store for our future. Be looking out for more wedding planning blogs!

"Every good and perfect gift is from above"
That’s great. I loved reading how you proposed. It was super interesting. You know I am also going to propose my girl for the wedding. I would like to host a surprise romantic rooftop party on her birthday at one of the local rooftop Chicago event venues. Do you have suggestions for improving my plan?
